Snow Day!

Ok, I've had two snow days this week on Thursday & Friday. Its been cold, very cold as in the actual temperture being close to 0! I went out to take some pictures and nearly froze my fingers off.

Addison

Addison was a flower girl at the last wedding I shot. I told her parents I really wanted to get some shots of her for my portfolio. I was up early (early for me while on vacation) and drove out to Highland. It was freezing cold outside (in the 20s) but that did not stop us from getting some great shots both outside and inside. We had a blast & I learned a new meal combination: Cherrios and fruitsnacks! Addison also has a couple of crazy hats that she tried on for me!







Sometimes fruitsnacks don't always make it to their destination. But don't worry, we have a cleaning crew on standby!

Chicago!

I spent a week in Chicago this summer, and pretty much just wondered around taking pictures. I am going to be posting more but here are a couple of samples from that week.

Danielle & Scott are Married!

Every wedding is special to me, but when its two people I know personally it takes on another meaning. Danielle & Scott got married in December (!) in German Town IL in a church that is over 150 years old! It was a long day for everyone, including the photographer! But for those that know me I thrive on it.
Galleries are posted and I will continue to add to them. One thing Danielle and Scott did was to go out on a 'photo-adventure' with me two days after the wedding. The couple of hours we had around downtown St. Louis provided us with some great shots. I think in the future I am going to throw in a seperate bride/groom shoot with all my weddings. I really enjoy doing this and I discovered that a bride in her dress can go just about anywhere!
